Masturbation in History, 1918
This is it folks. Gather around, the information I am about to tell you is TOP SECRET. MAKE SURE YOUR MOTHER IS NOT GOING TO WALK IN ON YOU WHILE YOU READ THIS POST, I AM WARNING YOU NOW PLEASE GO TO A SAFE LOCATION AWAY FROM YOUR MOTHER.

Alright, cool. Now I am about to tell you about masturbation in history a topic I don't need to know about, but for some reason, I know a lot about it. And no, I haven't talked to a woman in a considerable amount of time.

Masturbation is the act of stimulating one's sexual genitals for sexual pleasure. Masturbation plays an important part in human development, and humans usually engage in masturbation during puberty and sometimes earlier. Masturbating helps with sexual development and if done healthily, it is proven to have numerous health benefits.

Masturbation is theorised to have been done by primates as far as 40 million years ago.

However, masturbation in the past 200 years has been a very taboo topic. In Western medical journals, some doctors noted that masturbating could cause a person to go insane. Many doctors also thought masturbating contributed to a lot of serious health conditions, which has been proven to be false. Masturbating is considered to be sinful in some religions, and this played a part in it being a taboo subject.

Some media outlets had posters or magazines printed depicting people who masturbate to be disabled, unkempt or have mental disorders.

Fact: Kellogg's cornflake inventor, John Kellogg, invented the cereal to reduce people's sexual drive to stop them from masturbating. That's right, you just ate some anti-horny flakes for breakfast.
