Jesus Alejandro Rivas Figueroa who was a 15 year old migrant was arrested by the US marshal on 9 February 2024.
He was arrested after he shot a female tourist in the leg and fired at a police officer on 8th February.
Rivas-Figueroa shot at a female security guard who confiscated a coat he and his two friends tried to steal.
The bullet missed and hit Tatiele Riberio Lemos, a 38-year-old Brazilian tourist in her leg.
At just 15, Rivas Figueroa is already also wanted in two other crimes - an armed robbery and another shooting.
He was crying for his mother when he was getting arrested.
