Alleged North Korean soldiers in Kursk as seen by Ukrainian drones.



Over the weekend, there was an alleged assault of North Korean troops against Ukrainians fighting in the Kursk region. This claim is the first time Kyiv has claimed North Korean losses on this scale and in some detail. It said the casualties occurred around the villages of Plekhovo, Vorozhba and Martynovka in the Kursk region.

1 no N.K. remains appear to have been recovered, and it’s impossible to tell the troops nationality from photos and videos alone. All the evidence I’ve seen thus far is only speculation as to who the soldiers actually are, but it is likely North Koreans are participating in fighting in the Kursk region.

It’s being reported that North Koreans have integrated into the “special Buryat battalion” based on the 11th ĺSeparate Air Assault Brigade, with North Korean soldiers allegedly primarily making up its ranks.
