For me those of George Appel . This man won the "joke" award for the blackest humor I've ever seen, since his last words were just that, a bad joke.
Appel was a murderer of police officers in New York, and rapist of women.
He was sentenced to the electric chair and just before his death, he shared a bit of his "humor" with those present:
"Well gentlemen, you are about to witness a well-cooked apple" (referring to his last name Appel).
Just thinking about someone having the ability to make a joke about imminent death like that makes me feel sick to my stomach.
For me these have been the most disturbing words of a criminal before his death.
