Nothing will happen if you drink snake venom, because snake venom is a kind of protein, if it enters the stomach, it will become protease and peptone due to proteolytic enzymes and become the last amino acid!

But if there is a wound in the mouth, esophagus or stomach, then "GAME OVER"


Snake venom is a protein-based toxin which gets digested with the help of stomach acids and digestive enzymes if swallowed.


The snakes can inject or inoculate venom into our bodies by using their modified teeth which are called fangs. The venom is secreted by the oral glands of the snakes. There are nearly 3,500 species of snakes around the world. Out of them, only 25 per cent are poisonous and King Cobra is believed to be one of the deadliest snakes in the world.


When venomous snakes sink their fangs into the body of a human or animal, they inject a complex mixture of toxic proteins, enzymes and other molecular substances into our bloodstream. It disables you by breaking down your cellular mobility which often leads to paralysis, internal bleeding and death. This phenomenon is known to many and has been seen numerous times. But will the outcome be the same if snake venom is consumed as a drink? Several Netizens raised this query on Quora–a public interactive platform. After reading all the answers, it can be speculated the person will not die immediately after consuming the snake venom. Let us take a look at some of the answers and what experts believe.
