In Virginia, USA, a 37-year-old mother named Ashleigh Watts has been accused of behaving inappropriately with a 15-year-old boy and also mistreating his twin brother. The police found her naked with the boy and she is now facing charges.
The situation started when Watts was arrested at her home in Chesapeake in July. When the police arrived, Watts asked them to wait outside while she got dressed and looked after her dogs. Eventually, she let them into her house.
During their search, the police found a hidden area in an upstairs bedroom where they found the missing 15-year-old boy. He was only wearing boxers and confirmed his identity with his Learner’s Permit. Watts was initially charged with encouraging the boy to behave badly, but she now faces more serious charges including indecency with a minor. These charges are related to her alleged abusive relationships with the twin teenagers, who were friends and neighbors of Watts’ son.
According to reports, Watts had been involved with the twin boys for over a year before her arrest. The investigation began with an anonymous tip in February, reporting a suspected sexual relationship between Watts and the boys.
Another incident in February involved Watts’ husband coming home late at night to find her topless on the couch with one of the teenage boys. The boy later admitted that he had been at Watts’ house to smoke marijuana and had fallen asleep on the couch.
Even though the families were supposedly close friends and had a relaxed relationship, it is alleged that Watts had sexually and emotionally manipulated the teenagers behind closed doors. One of the boys told a neighbor about his sexual relationship with Watts, which had started in June of the previous year. The boy believed they were in love and planned to get married when he turned seventeen.
After the alleged relationship was revealed, the teenager ran away from home and was eventually found hiding in Watts’ bedroom three weeks later. The other twin admitted that Watts would invite him over to smoke marijuana and give him her underwear. He also claimed that she touched him inappropriately against his will.
As a result, protective orders were obtained by both sets of parents, as well as Watts’ husband. Documents filed by Watts’ husband stated that money, marijuana, and a prepaid cell phone were found after her arrest.
