It’s always better when is the person  not in the eye contact   with the executioner . For the inmate it’s better to keep calm and for the executioner to carry out the execution well. It’s a tradition that during these kinds of execution they cover whole inmates face by mask. Firing squad Actually the person who is shot by firing squad must face horrible when he is dying. Before the execution it’s better for the inmate to not see everything and it helps him to keep calm and don’t know when the shot will come. And for the executioner it’s better because he is not disturbed by facing of the inmate. Be sure that inmates don’t always die immediately after the shot. Unfortunately the executioners can also shot the inmate right into the head so it’s better for witnesses not to see all damages of the face.
