Alabama murderer dies of cancer aged 64, four years after surviving agonizing botched execution attempt that saw medics spend two-and-a-half hours trying to find vein to inject lethal drugs into A death row inmate from Alabama who survived an excruciatingly painful botched execution in 2018 has died at the age of 64, from lymphoma.   Doyle Hamm fought an 'extremely aggressive lymphoma' since 2014 according to his lawyer Bernard Harcourt. Complications from the lymphoma ended up contributing to Hamm's death. Hamm had been sentenced to death by lethal injection on February 22, 2018, but his execution was 'botched' and after several failed attempts to insert a needle into his veins, the execution was called off as midnight approached.  It saw him stabbed 11 times in the legs and groin with needles as doctors struggled to find a vein. Hamm, who was too weak to stand after the ordeal, was left bleeding from the groin and urinated blood an hour later, a medical examiner...

Soviet female POW in German captivity, 1941. German soldiers were ordered to execute female servicemen on the spot. Often before doing so, these unfortunate women faced all sorts of humiliations and abuse from their captors The Germans had very sexist views on society and viewed the practice of having women serving in the military and participating in combat as barbaric. Orders were passed by German generals where they told their men to execute female soldiers on the spot. Add to this the fact that Germans viewed Slavic people as subhumans half of whom needed to be exterminated which doesn't make this order seem unreal. Nazi Germany didn't let women work in essential war industries for the same reason. Instead they imported men from occupied countries (especially slavs) to serve as industrial slaves/serfs.  The prisoners in concentration camps have sex with each other Steady on. Nearly all concentration camps were single-sex, and at those that held both men and women the sexes were usually kept separate, though at Auschwitz III (Monowitz) and possibly also some other sub-camps they worked together. At extermination camps (where the sexes were not separated) most of the prisoners were killed within 24 hours of arrival. Prisoners did not have privacy. Remember that at the time most people had a horror of same-sex relations, especially between men. However, some Kapos and even guards forced prisoners to have sex with them. In Night Elie Wiesel relates how he found his Kapo having sex with a female prisoner, and he (Wiesel) was given 25 lashes for finding them having sex.* In the Women’s Camp at least one guard forced another woman to have sex with her, and at many camps there was a piepel (camp bum boy). *He also describes the hanging of the piepel of a Blockältester ( ‘block senior’). ...
